MANUEL D. GONZALEZ, OD
For over 40 years, Dr. Gonzalez has been serving the vision needs of his community. He obtained his Doctor of Optometry degree from UC Berkeley after completing a bachelors degree at Stanford University in Human Biology. He is passionate about providing clear vision through the careful fitting of glasses and contact lenses, but is also skilled at fitting rigid contact lenses for patients with irregular corneas, co-managing LASIK surgery, and even managing eye diseases like glaucoma and diabetic retinopathy. Dr. Gonzalez has improved the vision of tens of thousands of his patients of all ages over the last 40 years, and enjoys helping more every day. When out of the office, he enjoys traveling and spending time with his wife, three children, and new grandson, Ben, who he loves babysitting every "Bensday."

Andrew Sprenkel, OD, FAAO
Dr. Sprenkel is a part-time associate optometrist at the office of Dr. Gonzalez. He was deeply moved by his first visit to the eye doctor, and12 years later became one himself. After completing his bachelors degree in psychobiology at UCLA, he graduated from the Southern California College of Optometry. He then completed a residency at the Veterans Affairs hospital in Long Beach, which included additional training in primary care optometry, low vision, traumatic brain injury, and specialty contact lenses. Later, Dr. Sprenkel become a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry, focusing on diseases of the retina. When not at the office, he enjoys spending time with his wife, friends and family camping, hiking or going to the movies.
